Winter or holiday attire is encouraged. Pajamas and neutral clothing choices are highly recommended. Check out our latest Pinterest board for some outfit ideas and the inspiration behind the “Modern Minimalist” Christmas backdrop set that we will be going for this year.

Due to custom nature all sales are final. Digital images are not returnable. In case of illness, session may be transferred to another party. Taylor Kent Photography is the only photographer to perform the photographic services requested on this contract. No other photographer is allowed to take photos at the session and no other cameras are allowed at the session. Please only bring the people that will be photographed to the session. Also, please do not bring your own camera, cell phone, or recording device to the session.  Clients hereby indemnify and hold Taylor Kent harmless against any and all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from any injury or accident in relation to the photo shoot.

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your exact reserved time. You will follow the signs to The North Pole. Park as directed and follow the signs to enter on the South side of the home (the right entrance) and you will exit out the North side of the house when you are finished. Check in with the greeter when you arrive inside. There will be a waiting area and bathroom available to use while waiting for your precise session time to begin. Please have your children dressed and ready to go for their session. This includes hair combed and having their faces clean. Children are more likely to become grouchy if they are fussed with too much before the session.

Taylor will choose the best images from your session. Sneak peek images may be posted online via social media and my website within a few days of your session. Taylor will automatically tag you (if applicable). Please allow 2 weeks for editing and gallery delivery, as well as 5x7 print delivery via mail or pickup. When ready, the 5 final images will be displayed in your own personal online gallery, with additional images available if you would like to upgrade to your full digital album. Print packages also available at discounted rates.

When can I book?

2019 booking opened September 7th and will be $99 until end of day October 1st at 12am Midnight MST. After that, session prices go up to $155 per slot. You can book all the way up until the day before the shoot - Thursday November 14th will be the last day to book.

How long is each session?

Sessions are up to 5 minutes long. This may seem quick, but for reference, mall Santas typically only allow 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes for each family.  Five minutes will be ample time to get to hang out with Santa, ask him questions, read a wishlist or book, watch a magic trick, and more! Your new holiday tradition awaits!

How many people can I bring to my session?

We can accommodate a total of 6 family members* total in one photograph.  Each 5 minute slot is for only ONE of the following options:

1. the whole immediate family (parents and children)

2. just the kids

3. a group of friends

4. one couple

just the pets

*If you’d like a photo with extended family, you must book two back to back slots.

Why should I book a session with you, and not take my children to a mall Santa?

There are so many perks to booking a Santa session with us. You get your own 5 minute session, alone with Santa. He reads your children a book, and discusses with them their personal wish lists, performs holiday magic tricks, and lots more fun in his bag!  There are no long lines to wait in, your time slot is reserved for you. There is no mall traffic, and no full parking lots to navigate.

How many images will I receive?

5 high resolution digital images are included with your purchase of $155. Two 5x7 prints of the best shots will be mailed to your address or available to be picked up locally in Bozeman within two weeks of the shoot. For an additional $35 you can upgrade to all hi-res digital images showcased in your gallery.

What’s the sweet treat?

This year, Santa will be handing out a cookie to your child at the end of  your time with him. The cookies may contain wheat and nuts. The cookie is at each parent's discretion, Taylor Kent Photography is not held responsible for any allergies.

If the sessions sell out, will you open up another day?

Possibly!!! At this point in time, we only have November 15th-17th. Santa is in high demand this time of year. I’m not saying that there is no way we will open up more time slots, and I’m not saying that we will. It is best to book your session early.

What happens if my child cries when they see Santa?

Santa cries too and it makes for quite the ‘right of passage’ childhood memory! But really, I strive to capture them authentically based off their interaction with Santa, regardless of whether or not your child cries. It is not realistic to expect that all kids will be smiling. I think that that is one of the things that makes these sessions so special, your child’s authentic reaction to seeing Santa. We also will not force your child to sit on Santa's lap, if they are timid or shy, that’s ok!

What should my kids wear?

Holiday themed clothing is encouraged - pajamas and neutral clothing choices are highly recommended.  Dress up or down it’s your choice!  Get country and choose Christmas Western Wear if you’re visiting Cowboy Santa!  See my suggestions for what to wear on my pinterest board here!
